About the event

In this three hour workshop, Eric will share all the tools you’ll need to get your short film done – from pre-production through post.

BIO: While growing up in Massapequa, Long Island, Eric Rudnick got his love of storytelling by seeing Broadway matinees with half-price tickets on Wednesday afternoons with his mom. He started as an actor, appearing on TV and onstage in classics and new works. After moving to Los Angeles to further his writing career, Eric learned what goes into making film & TV while working on dozens of sets as a producer on indie films and on shows like The Biggest Loser, Hell’s Kitchen, and Big Brother. Eric has sold a TV drama pilot to TNT and optioned a comedy to FOX. He just wrapped his first movie as writer-director-producer, the short film HOLD YOU SO TIGHT, starring Charisma Carpenter and Kristina Wong. The webseries he created, THE EDGE OF ALLEGIANCE, premiered on the front page of Funny Or Die and was an official selection at the L.A. and Brooklyn Webfests. He has also written screenplays, and stage plays which have been produced in New York and Los Angeles. He volunteers with the great get-kids-writing organizations Young Storytellers and 826LA.
